“SPEECHLESS”

For once in my life I can’t explain how I feel,
A feeling that makes me cry, torn, happy, and wonder what is real,
I wish for so many things that there aren’t enough stars in the sky above,
I’ve prayed and prayed for this pain to stop and for God to guide me to her unconditional love,
I’ve experienced so many things through all the hurt and pain,
To never wish upon anyone this heartache to endure or gain,
Butterflies have come into view only to leave me lonely with the moon,
Such beauty can be seen at anytime, but so rarely to keep and to hold therefore it always leaves too soon,
Not a chance to catch this one precious stone,
For she is not mine, so I cannot place a name to identify that I own,
Not possessive, not jealous, not lusting, or envious at all,
Just that one chance to have your heart and together forever in love we shall fall,
Now that special person to you has kept the key,
The key that can only open what you want and need for him to see,
If I held that key of yours know that you’d receive one in return,
For yours to keep in sickness and in health as lovers in marriage we would together grow and learn,
When the tears fall from my eyes, know that I cry for what I can’t control,
All I ever wanted and needed was your love, your heart, and unconditional soul,
Etched inside of me is an image of beauty personified,
You are that beauty that has so many eye’s opening wide,
An understanding of friendship I am privileged to be offered and an honor to accept,
Yet my heart knows that it needs more and prays that it is the first step,
For the opportunity to hug you was quite rare,
You have no idea the feeling that I had being lost in your hair,
What joy, what warmth – so much passion was there,
A feeling to die for and many more while finding forever with you I hope to share,
So I am left speechless until we are there.
