Never had a love like this,

Never knew a kiss could cause bliss,

Never knew her name would make me smile like this,

Never felt butterflies in my stomach,

Never felt so wanted and needed,

Never knew her absence would be cured by her mere presence,

Never knew she would teach me so many lessons, 

Never knew in the flesh I could receive such a blessing, 

Never thought I could take flight, 

Till I saw you, I never knew love at first sight, 

Envision a dream and then it is there, 

You are my dream every moment you are here, 

Never felt an embrace and cried when let go, 

Never knew love would never let go, 

Never knew that looking back could allow such growth, 

And seeing forward now allows better maneuverability with better spacing and better flow, 

I understand life a lot better,

Ensuring I always seek peace and hopeful that ties don’t sever,

In keeping with all future endeavors,

I need you to know I love you now, I love you still,

I love you more than ever, 

I will give up on you never.
