“STILL”
Still searchin’ for love everlasting; Lord where’s my wife?
I’m prayin for love daily yet still I sleep all alone through the nights,
Love is here I can taste it in the air,
Why must I suffer this pain? For so long I’ve heard death flirt in my ear,
Still wonderin’ and learnin’ how to be a better man,
So I may teach my son that his father he must grow to be better than,
Still feeling the tears wanting to fall, but instead they bleed,
Still listening to wisdom and God’s word so with the combination I may lead,
Still working out daily preparing for the future days,
Knowing it won’t be long till my daughter reaches the age,
Still missin my family that has passed away,
Left the rest of us strugglin’, cryin’ cause they left so suddenly,
Still trying to make it big so the fam can live tight,
Still roaming the streets battlin’ these thoughts late at night,
Still haven’t lost love and the way it feels,
Still knowing that kiss I desire so much is just so surreal,
Still fightin’ myself cause my heart is empty and there is no one,
Still askin’ for forgiveness if I pull the trigger of this gun!
STILL.
