“The Difference”

Love kept me warm from the cold over the years,
Love never ran, never strayed, never showed me fear,
Love gave me life, even when at times I didn’t give it back,
Love told me from conception it would never, under any circumstances fade to black,
Love showed me how to perservere,
And thru all my trials and tribulations, love has proven to still be here,
Love searched for me when I was lost – twas I she always found,
Love always told me, but most importantly showed me she’d forever be around,
Love taught me that sometimes what I perceive to be love may not be real,
Love said she is pure and many others will try to imitate, and take from me true loves zeal,
Love never kept a list of my wrongs,
She allowed me to be forgiven, and love on and on and on,
Love never kept me from anything on earth,
Love proved to be limitless in her efforts, in my efforts, love is always my first,
Love never held me down or purposely took me thru things,
Love taught me that no matter what, to always keep loving,
Love hasn’t purposely put me in a place where hurt and pain coincide,
Love always lived, always gave, my love always tried,
Endless in thought, pure inside my soul,
Love is the beauty of my God and the one thing I weaken to allow control,
Love is me, and I love too,
Love is open hearted sharing, and thinking anew,
Love is free, easy, but be careful for it can mistakenly hurt deeply if misused,
Love can make you lose control and weaken its truth,
When I think of Love I see my kids,
And in front of love I place the word “unconditional” as is,
See you may not want my love, yet someone may,
Love for she and I to share, experience through blue skies or gray,
Something love has always done, always said, and continues to show,
Love is something more than just emotions, and feelings, and never ceases to grow,
Love will go anywhere you want to go, and allow you to be whatever you want to be,
Loving yourself is the same as you forever loving me,
Unconditional.
