“dont you dare touch my heart…..”
if you’re not ready for that,
don’t you dare come near for i will protect me by all means – please don’t attack,
i am not perfect life has had many traps,
i’ve fallen in most, and from most i stand here today and say from some i’ve never made it back,
i’m still looking back,
despite me telling myself stop looking back,
i’m to blame for some of this pain i will take some responsibility i know i can take the rap,
i was not innately built for this crap,
i was taught and shown how to handle each obstacle break them down step by step, fact by fact,
broken dreams broken hearts led to a foundational crack,
understand the importance of self-love self-confidence even when broken down to get back on track,
odds against me have always been stacked,
i wasn’t supposed to make it this far no one gave me a map,
i found my way with some help because the advice that led me astray forced me to counteract,
when against the wall or concrete grounds they placed my back,
digging in, digging into, deeper and deeper me desperately needing help it’s looking pitch black,
at that moment my spirit was broken and soul was hacked,
now begins your understanding of why my trust and views are difficult to obtain my body and soul have been ransacked,
depending on your level of experiences some will say it was all a minor setback or sidetrack,
going in circles with no way out – cul-de-sac,
memories make me feel at a point and time i was a maniac,
hurt so badly my heart was arrested by cardiac,
from it all i made a decision i made it back,
love is stronger i’m more willing i will not crack,
understand the importance of my words if you plan on opening the door to me please be prepared and intact,
don’t you dare touch my heart…..if you’re not ready because I don’t have time for that.
