“I SEE ‘EM COMING DOWN MY EYES”

They’re rushing,
flowing,
in numerous numbers they fall,
Triggered by a pain,
mixed with some hurt,
sadness,
tumbling down till they reach my cheek,
and slow to a crawl,
One after another,
no uniformity,
from all angles they fall,
from my right eye, left eye,
corners ,
I see them all,
My heart curls up,
is it destined to be,
I see ’em coming down my eyes,
alone,
in my hand your picture,
in the mirror,
no longer a reflection of me,
Envisioning the visions,
I had for us so many dreams,
the more I think about it,
the more the tears seem to stream,
Short breathes in between every tear,
what I hold in my hand to my heart
I draw nearer,
I’m lost in my space,
I walk in the same zones,
never once leaving the
area, space, place, position, walls,
I never stepped outside of
my home,
Isolation of my mind,
secluded physically from the world,
when I cry it has rained,
how did I ever lose my baby girl!?!
In my dreams I still see them,
so vividly when I awake,
the pain is so real,
my pillow is wet and I am uncertain of my fate,
Love will find a way,
it has to, I need it to, without it I’m not strong,
see now they’re running and chasing, each other
falling in melodic fashion as if they are notes in a song,
I’m crying my heart out, could you help stop the tears from coming down?
My heart is so tight, breathing is to a gasp, can you help me right now –
I see ’em coming down.
