Never loved me from day one,
Goes to the store to purchase a gun,
Goes to the range to ensure he shoots with accuracy when the time comes,

Up early one last time to see the rising of the sun,
One last time spent hugging and kissing his daughters and sons,
One last smile and remembrance of fun,
A new life and chapter soon to come,
Your lives will change forever while mine is over and done,
I remember the happiness and how it all begun,
My sentences were always ended with happy exclamations,
Every day felt as if I had won,
Those days quickly turned into some,
Now they are none,
From it all I will admit I hid and did run,
As if they were simply errands,
Life has taught me not to trust anyone,
Scars and wounds I still have leaving me shaken,
Memories daily haunt me and I cannot shake them,
I need to get away, I must get away, I have to go away from,
Tragedies I will be among,
Still the expected outcome,
Doomed since my creation,
Soul was simply taken,
To my injuries I have succumbed,
No more days will I awaken,
This is what I have become,
In other words what I have chosen,
Please do not fall for the misinformation,
On my heart, my head, these problems weighed many tons,
To some it may stun,
Sometimes we can’t fix what is crooked no matter how hard you try to straighten,
A hero that is unsung,
No refund,
Life by subtraction somehow will equal a massive addition,
Sad but true equation,
Love you always,
– The unappreciated one.
